Drop, Off
Drop, Off is formed from repeated lengths of vivid matt green silicone, hand-extruded along a shelf edge. The material gathers into overlapping loops and trailing drips, creating a flexible form that appears both soft and firm.
Made as a self-supporting, relocatable sculpture, the work can be positioned along different shelf edges, allowing its relationship with the supporting surface to change. The unfamiliar colour and finish emphasise the material’s qualities, transforming an everyday construction product into something unexpectedly tactile.
